8 Ways to Hear God When It Seems Impossible

God Can Speak Even When We Aren’t Listening or Are Resisting
Instead of forcing God to get our attention, we should align ourselves with Him.
We Must Be Filled with His Word to Hear His Voice
The more familiar we are with His Word, the easier it is to discern His voice.
We Must Get Near Him to Hear Him
God often speaks in a still, small voice, requiring us to be near Him to hear it.
We Must Lower the Noise to Hear His Voice
Quiet the internal noise by surrendering worries and distractions to God (Exodus 3:1-6).
We Must Be in the Spirit to Hear God’s Voice
Being in the Spirit means continuously living in a state of worship, prayer, and surrender to God.
It’s Hard to Hear God When You’ve Already Decided What You Want Him to Say
Truly hearing God requires us to have an open heart, ready to accept whatever God says, even if it’s not what we want.
Obedience to the Known Will of God Helps Us to Hear God’s Voice
