How to Handle Your Hotel/Rooms
Hotel rooms or rooms often have lingering spiritual issues that make it hard for us discerners to relax and enjoy, especially at night. I want to assure you that you can shift the atmosphere in Jesus’ name! Here’s how:
1. Repent and renounce every act of idolatry, disobedience, and every unclean act that has taken place in that room. Some have called this “identification repentance” and you can repent for what others have done to shut some demonic doors. (This never takes away personally but is more of a prophetic act that gets the job done.)
2. Command Every demon to go in Jesus' name.
3. Command Every demonic door to be shut in Jesus' name.
4. Anoint the room with oil and invite the Holy Spirit to be the ruling Spirit in that space.
5. Ask the Lord to send His holy angels to the room as well.
6. Declare that you are blessed going in and blessed going out.
7. Enjoy the shift of atmosphere because you will have one.
Here is the Prayer:
Father God, I come before You in repentance, renouncing every act of idolatry, disobedience, and any unclean act that has taken place in this room. I ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing by the blood of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus, I command every demon, every unclean spirit, to leave this room now. I speak to every demonic door and command it to be shut, sealed by the power of the blood of Jesus, never to be opened again.
As I anoint this room with oil, I invite Your Holy Spirit to come and be the ruling Spirit in this space. Holy Spirit, fill this room with Your presence, peace, and power.
I ask You, Lord, to send Your holy angels to guard this room and surround it with Your protection.
I declare that I am blessed coming into this room and blessed going out, because You, Lord, are with me.
Thank You, Father, for the shift in atmosphere. I receive Your peace and joy, knowing this place is now filled with Your presence. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
