Bitterness
I want to share something with you today that’s been heavy on my heart—bitterness. Bitterness is sneaky, y’all. It creeps in when we’ve been hurt, betrayed, or disappointed, and before we know it, it starts taking up space in our hearts where joy should live. I know this because I’ve been there.
There was a time when I let bitterness rule my life. I was holding onto past pain, unforgiveness, and the feeling that I had been wronged. But here’s what I’ve learned: as long as we hold onto bitterness, we can’t fully embrace the joy God has for us. We block the blessings He wants to pour into our lives.
Family, it’s time to let it go. Whatever hurt you, whoever betrayed you, whatever disappointment you’re holding onto—God wants you to release it. Why? Because He has joy waiting for you. And that joy is bigger than anything you’ve lost, anything that’s hurt you, or anything you thought you couldn’t recover from.
When I finally let go of my bitterness, it was like a weight was lifted off of me. My relationships changed, my heart changed, and I found joy that I hadn’t felt in years. And guess what? You can too.
So today, I encourage you to take that step. Let go of the bitterness, trust God to handle it, and step into the joy He has waiting for you.
Blessings,
Pastor Nicole
