Grow Up
This powerful message from Ephesians 4 challenges us to examine whether our lives truly reflect the divine calling we've received through Christ. The central question isn't about age or experience—it's about spiritual maturity. We discover that maturity doesn't automatically come with time; rather, it's measured by how equally our daily lives match the weight of our calling. Paul's words from prison carry urgent weight: he begs us to walk worthy of our calling through complete humility, gentleness, patience, and unity. What's revolutionary here is recognizing these aren't soft virtues—they're spiritual weapons. Humility disarms the enemy, gentleness diffuses attacks, patience breaks cycles of reaction, and unity suffocates the devil's plans. The enemy thrives on pride, offense, division, and drama, but when we embrace these Christ-like characteristics, we starve him out. As we approach seasons of gathering with family and community, we're equipped with tools for our spiritual belt that are more powerful than any earthly weapon. The call is clear: it's time to grow up spiritually, not because God is disappointed, but because He wants us fortified against the storms ahead.
